My name is Hayley Nemard-Delahaye and I'm a Physician Associate who has chosen to specialise in home auditory care.

Following my time working in Social Care, for the Ambulance Service and as a Clinical Manager in a Care Home, I was aware of the serious, negative impact that any level of hearing loss could have upon a person's wellbeing, such as the increased likelihood of social isolation, the reduction of the ability to communicate effectively and the frustration it can bring, and even sometimes the physical effect on balance and the ability to mobilise well. 

However, despite the immense effect hearing loss can have on someone's life, it could sometimes be easily rectified with something as simple as earwax removal, and so I set about becoming qualified to perform this procedure independently.

Also being highly aware of the reduced mobility of some people and the lack of transport connections, I decided to begin offering an 'at home' service.
